First public presentation of Wings to graduates of the Commonwealth Air Training plan, takes place in Montreal’s Royal Stadium. After the presentations a march through the city takes place with Air Marshal ‘Billy’ Bishop VC on the rostrum. Shortly after he was taken seriously ill.
