Summary
Large convoy of ships in Scandinavian waters en route to Russia. They are attacked by enemy planes. One of the convoy is hit and the cruiser "Scylla" takes survivors off the minesweeper "Harrier". When the convoy had passed the danger zone, the commander of the naval escort Rear-Admiral Burnett decided that the Scylla had better go on ahead with the survivors. So he is put in breeches buoy and transferred to a destroyer.
