Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Tour of Canada - Departure. DESCRIPTION: The King and Queen with the Princesses drive to Waterloo and board a train for Portsmouth. On arrival at Portsmouth they walk to the Guildhall to receive the Keys of the City. Other members of the Royal Family go onboard the "Empress of Australia" to bid Their Majesties farewell. SHOTLIST: GV landau out of Buckingham Palace. TS procession in The Mall as crowd breaks Police cordon and rushes forward. GV landau arrives at Waterloo & Princesses Elizabeth & Margaret then King & Queen alight. MCU Queen Mary kisses Queen Elizabeth then King kisses Queen Mary. MCU Duchess of Gloucester kisses Princess Elizabeth. CU The King. CU Princess Elizabeth (good). MCU Queen boards train. GV Train pulls out. AV Portsmouth Guildhall.
