Summary
Pathe cameraman, Terry Ashwood, on leave in Cairo finds out how waste material is dealt with there. Very little is wasted. Tin, wood, petrol cans, even mosquito netting, is remade into something useful, and old bottles are used as insulators for telegraph wires. He also visits a military hospital, and then around Cairo he sees how the "V" sign has been adopted, also the "V" in morse.
