British raid on the Lofoten Island. Roosevelt signs Lease and Lend Bill. Churchill signs Anglo-American Agreement. The Battle of Matapan. After Easter the Blitz repeated on London. Malta too underwent severe bombing. Rudolph Hess arrived in England. Troops were evacuated from Crete. Sinking of the "Bismarck". Dublin was bombed. Germany invaded Russia. Cease Fire in Syria. Atlantic meeting between Roosevelt and Churchill. Germany continues its advance through Russia. The Spitzbergen raid. Averell Harriman and Lord Beaverbrook went to Moscow for Three Power Conference. American troops took up residence in Iceland. Our All-Aid to Russia plan was kept flowing by the immediate transport of raw materials on the Trans-Iranian railway. The bombing of Pearl Harbour by the Japanese brought America into the war. The war continued in North Africa.
