Summary

Showing the work of a naval Paymaster apart from being responsible for the sailor’s pay each week he is also in charge of provisioning the ship, making sure there is enough food and that when it’s cooked it’s edible, keeping the clothing and main stores up to scratch and running a savings bank for the crew.
