Summary
In the Eastern Tennis Championships at New York, Alice Marble beats Helen Jacobs, winning for the third year. In the Men’s Final Bobby Riggs against Donald McNeal. Riggs takes the first set, but in the second McNeal fights back and takes the second set, but by the fourth Riggs is back on top and wins the title for the fourth time in a row.
