Summary
The Achilles which was the third British ship in the Graf Spee battle returns to her home port at Auckland and receives tremendous welcome. Then the Governor General goes aboard to bring the King’s greetings. Afterwards the crew of the Achilles march through the streets of Auckland to the cheers of the crowd.
