- Summary
- The King visits a naval establishment where he inspects and decorates sailors and officers. At a fighter squadron station of the RAF he decorates a Squadron Leader with the DFC. He then joins the Queen at an East Coast port where they talk with mariners about their war experiences. The next day they visit a works where marine engineering is carried out, and are greatly interested in the precision work that is done there. Finally they visit a Clydeside shipbuilding yard and are given an enthusiastic welcome by a crowd of two thousand.
