- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royalty in Birmingham. SHOTLIST: Their Majesties alight from the Royal Train and, accompanied by Lord Austin and Mr Chamberlain make a tour of the shadow factory and see Fairey "Battle" Bombers. Then the pair tour the new centre hospital and then over the medical school where the latest instruments are used. At the BIF at Castle Bromwich, they are accompanied by Lord Dudley and show interest in several exhibits including kettle making and an ARP shelter.
