Summary
The last of the American survivors leave Glasgow where they have been staying for the last fortnight, to sail back across the Atlantic aboard the liner "Orizaya". Meanwhile, the first batch of survivors arrives at Halifax, Nova Scotia, on board the American freighter "City of Flint" which picked them out of the sea and then continued her journey across the Atlantic. Normally carrying only six passengers she now carries 223, but the passengers are prepared to put up with the discomfort and shortage of food, just to be home again. On arrival survivors are interviewed.
