Summary

The American pair Alice Marble and Sarah Palfrey Fabian face the British girls Kay Stammers and Freda Jane Hammersley, but it’s victory for the Americans and the Wimbledon champions again. In the men’s doubles, no Americans appear in the finals. Australia’s Jack Crawford and Harry Hopman meet fellow countrymen John Bromwich and Adrian Quist. After some of the finest tennis seen, Quist and Bromwich win in three sets.
