Summary

At Madison Square Garden it’s the two mile race in the Indoor Championship meet. Record-holder Don Lash sets the pace, but Glenn Cunningham hard on his heels cuts across Lash who pushes him away but Cunningham stays in front and wins. The judges consider disqualifying Cunningham but decide to let it stand, but many doubt the fairness of the decision.
