MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Highland Gathering in Sydney. DESCRIPTION: The gathering is in Sydney, Australia. SHOTLIST: On New Year’s day 25,000 Scotch Australians gather for the annual highland games. The hammer is thrown, the weight putted and the proceedings end with a demonstration of highland dancing by children. Another feature of the pageant is the march past of the New South Wales Scottish Regiment.
