Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: German Western Front Fortifications (Siegfried Line). DESCRIPTION: German fortifications in the west. SHOTLIST: Along their Western frontier the Germans have built a line of fortifications. Big concrete teeth to prevent tanks crossing the barbed wire entanglements are erected and underground a complete fort. Soldiers run down the steps into the sleeping quarters, then into the wash rooms. The whole system is linked up with a network of telephones controlled from a switchboard and observation slits are provided.
