Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Prunella Stack’s Wedding. DESCRIPTION: Prunella Stack weds Lord David Douglas Hamilton in Glasgow. SHOTLIST: Large crowds including members of the Womens’ League of Health and Beauty enter Glasgow Cathedral for the marriage of Miss Prunella Stack and Lord David Douglas Hamilton. The groom arrives with the best man, his brother, Lord Nigel. Then his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Hamilton arrive. The bride comes by car and enters the Cathedral on the arm of the her uncle. Colonel Cruikshank. After the ceremony the happy pair are piped to their car by Pipe Major Ross. Later at the reception the newly weds receive their guests and the presents are on show.
