Summary
The Throstles win the Cup. West Bromwich Albion win football’s most coveted honour with convincing win by 2 gals to 1 over Birmingham. The community singing was as impressive as ever. MG Richardson opened the scoring after 25 minutes play with fine shot which Hibbs failed to hold. At half time, West Bromwich Albion were leading by the only goal scored, having had the best of the game despite Birmingham’s always dangerous rushes. Second half opened sensationally, Bradford scoring a fine equaliser for Birmingham after 13 minutes play.
