Summary
The Lighthouse on Greenly Island, welcome sight that told fliers they had crossed the Atlantic. Greenly Island, a desolate barren and dangerous landing place. In these icy waters, icebergs are ever present, even in Summer. A few whites and Indians are the only inhabitants the airmen found. Canadian Government immediately despatch icebreaker "Montcalm" to stranded aviators rescue. Fraulein Junkers leaves in the Bremen’s sister ship with spare parts. Major Fitzmaurice arrives at Seven Islands, Quebec. Mayor Romeril voices America’s greetings to the "Vikings of the Sky". Major Fitzmaurice, of the Irish Free State Air Force.
