Disaster narrowly averted in "take off" of Flight Lieutenants Carr and Gillman’s 6 1/2 ton Hawker-Hodsley, as it leaves for India non-stop flight. [Cameraman: Cotter]. Almost simultaneously Captain Lindbergh - nicknamed "The Flying Fool" left on his lonely flight across the Atlantic from New York to Paris. [Source: P News].
