Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Opening of Singapore Docks. SHOTLIST: Among the visitors are some US Naval Officers. Reporters cars are searched for contraband cameras. Seabelle II, with the Governor Sir Shenton Thomas on the bridge, steams into the dock breaking the ribbon as it does so. Colonel Llewellyn addresses the gathering and sailors dress two destroyers in the dock. Close up. Plaque being unveiled. Shots of Singapore Docks aerial - Lavender only.
