Summary
With this issue, the Pathe Super Gazette celebrates its first anniversary, and thanks to the support of the owners and patrols of this cinema, it has been able to give, in each edition, longer and more interesting pictures than hitherto possible of events of national and world interest in any news-film. The Pathe Super Gazette looks forward fortified by such support - to be able to do even better in the coming year. No expense will be spared - and every endeavour will be made to achieve further successes. FEBRUARY The rotor ship was a "nine days wonder". MARCH China was in throes of Civil War. APRIL And who can forget the R33 and her gallant crew’s epic fight with the gale? MAY Sofia Cathedral bombed by Communists. Soul-stirring scenes at Thanksgiving Day Service at Wembley. JUNE France and Spain launched offensive against Riffa. JULY Canada’s magnificent "Home" in London was opened by the King and Queen.
