Summary
Nation mourns Queen Alexandra - indefatigable in good works - beloved all. She adored all animals - dogs in particular. For many years she personally presented "Her" shamrock to Irish Guards on St Patrick’s Day. Never was there such a demonstration of devotion for any royalty as "her own Rose Day". The last cine portrait taken when Her Majesty graciously came out of retirement at Sandringham to help the London Hospital.
