Summary

5,000 troops take part in "Great War of 1925" between Mercia - Force v Wessex - Mobility. The opening day - mud and continuous rain made conditions that almost rivalled Flanders. We are staying on a farm. Signals - the Army’s "nerves". The ever welcome Rum Ration.
