Summary

Huge crowds throng Trafalgar Square at 3 pm. Mrs Lloyd George announces ‘Peace is signed’. Thousands flock to acclaim the King at Buckingham Palace. The King and Queen and Royal Family appear. The King meets and drives back with Mr Lloyd George, who brought us ‘Peace with Honour’.
