Summary
RAF Warfront: the Battle of Normandy. Troops land on beaches "under the shield of the RAF", and the striking force assembles: ground traffic control at Banville/Grepon crossroads. Improvised airfields constructed for Spitfires, Mustangs, Typhoons. Rockets are fitted to Typhoons, which are seen in action - special emphasis on the exploits of Group Captain Morris (?) [sic]. A Typhoon crash lands on one wheel. Lancasters and Halifaxes bomb the Falaise "pocket". Wrecked equipment and dead or wounded troops of General von Kluge’s army litter the roads from Falaise.
