Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Their Majesties Attend Garter Service at Windsor. DESCRIPTION: Their Majesties attend Garter Service at Windsor. SHOTLIST: Shots of the Procession with Windsor Castle in the background. Knights of the Companion into camera include Lord Beaufort, Mr Stanley Baldwin and the Duke of Norfolk in the ceremonial dress. Lord Devonshire, Lord Derby, Lord Crewe. These are followed by the Dukes of Gloucester and Kent, followed by Queen Mary in Robes. King George and Queen Elizabeth wind up the procession. They mount the steps of the St George’s Chapel. Interior of the chapel and the ceremony. The Knights Companion leave the chapel. Lord Harewood leaving. Lord Lascelles, his son is seen as page to Queen Mary as she leaves. The King and Queen leave. Close shots past camera.
