MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Recent Activities of Royal Family. DESCRIPTION: As part of the Jubilee celebrations the King and Queen drive to East London and are received at Limehouse Town Hall. The Prince of Wales visits the BIF at Birmingham. The Duke of Kent lays the foundation stone of the new Maternity Wing of the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. SHOTLIST: Shot of the King and Queen on drive to East London. The stop at Limehouse Town Hall. the Prince of Wales enters the BIF at Birmingham. He meets the blinded war veterans and walks round the exhibition. The Duke of Kent lays foundation stone, of the Maternity wing at the Royal Infirmary at Edinburgh. The Duchess presents prizes to nurses.
