Summary

NFTVA Silent News Films (1965): "Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland: HRH The Duke Of York, Accompanied By the Duchess, Leaves Holyrood for St Giles Cathedral." The Duke and Duchess drive out of the gates of Holyrood House in an open carriage and are seen arriving at the cathedral. (51 feet) "At the Assembly Hall for the opening ceremony." There is a shot of the ceremony and the Duke and Duchess then drive away in their carriage. (97 feet)
