Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Test Cricketers Are Here. DESCRIPTION: Main party of Australian team are made welcome in London from Southampton. SHOTLIST: Shot of the Liner in dock. A group of the test team are seen at the gangway. They are Bradman, Woodfull, Ponsford, Wall, Starling and O’Reilly. One or two other names are indistinct. Close shot of Woodfull and also close shot of Bradman. The cricket bags are brought ashore and the men walk down the gangway and the mayor before them. Waterloo and the train draws in with crowd waiting on the platform. They are greeted by Lord Hailsham (President of MCC). Woodfull and Bradman are greeted. Woodfull speaks into the "mike". The coach bearing the team leaves and they lay a wreath at the Cenotaph for Anzac Day. Close shot of the wreath.
