- NFTVA ‘Silent News Films’ (1965): "The Prince in Thanet: The mecca of millions visited by HRH The Prince of Wales." (9 ft) Accompanied by officials, the Prince walks under an arch of welcome and advances towards a ribbon suspended across the promenade. (24 ft) "His Royal Highness opens the New Promenade, Ramsgate, by cutting the ribbon with a silver gilt hunting knife presented by the Borough." (35 ft) The Prince cuts the ribbon (44 ft) and proceeds along the promenade cheered by watching crowds. (52 ft) He takes his place in a car with the mayor. (62 ft)
