- NFTVA ‘Silent News Films’ (1965) lists what seems to be a version of this story, running for 127 feet: "Royalty and railwaymen. At the Southern Railway Works, HRH The Duke of York drives the largest passenger locomotive in the country - with the Duchess on the footplate." (17 ft.) The Duke and Duchess are receive by officials and the Duchess is presented with a bouquet (26 ft.); they tour the railway works (60 ft.). The Duke and Duchess take their places on the locomotive ‘The Lord Nelson’ (Southern 850) (90 ft.); close shot of the Duchess looking down from the cabin (100 ft.); the train is driven into a station where the Duke alights, followed by the Duchess (120 ft.).
