Six out of ten trophies go abroad, among them the Diamond Sculls, Grand Challenge Cup and the Thames Cup. Russia took three of the major trophies and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology beat the Royal Navy. The Diamond Sculls went to Yugoslavia.
