Summary
Scene of disturbance is State of Kashmir where Sikh detachments hurry to oppose rebel march on capital city of Srinigar. Meanwhile at the palaces of the Maharajahs of Gwalior and Jaipur is celebrated traditional Dasshora Festival. At the latter’s palace Field Marshal Lord [sic] Auckinleck and Pamela Mountbatten are honoured guests. Delegates of twenty-two Asiatic countries meet for International Labour Organization Conference at Delhi.
