Summary
Latest report from the Second Front includes visit of Prime Minister, Field Marshal Smuts and Chief of the General Staff. General Eisenhower is accompanied by US Chief of Staff, General Marshall, on his visit to the battlefield. Fighter aircraft, operating from newly constructed airstrips in Normandy, make spectacular attacks on trains, tanks etc, far behind German lines. All this time reinforcements pour into Normandy on great scale. Also scenes of Germany’s west wall.
