Summary
Most sports personalities don’t rely solely on athletics for their livelihoods, Pathe News investigates just six top names from the world of sport to see what goes on between appearances. Boxer Billy Walker for instance, turns from bashing opponents to bashing spuds at his potato restaurant in the City, Henry Cooper too keeps his eyes on potatoes at his greengrocery shop, weighing in with a difference, Billy Gray the boxer knows a lot about beef, he is a porter at Smithfield Market, Linda Ludgrove, swimming star, needs an expert stroke to do her job, poodle clipper. And England cricketer, Freddie Titmus sends down some pretty good deliveries over the counter of his sweet shop.
