Summary
Babcock and Wilcox synopsis: The day-in, day-out transport of thousands of employees to and from the Renfrew works of Babcock & Wilcox, speedily and comfortably for all concerned, presents many problems. Difficulties inevitably arise and the Works Transport Committee gives useful service in providing a liason between the Company and its employees on the one hand and the local transport authorities on the other.
This business of mass transport, by tram, train, bus and Clyde ferry, and the operation of the Transport Committee, are seen through the eyes of the works employees.
