Summary
COI synopsis: When a giant oil tanker moving at under two mph bumped a jetty, the bill came to one and a quarter million pounds. So SAMI was born. Speed of Approach Measurement Indicator brings the quarter of a million tons of super tanker gently into berth at less than a tenth of a mph.
