Summary
Film User Summary - A steel tower over 90 ft. long and weighing 130 tons was recently moved by road, rail and ship from the maker’s factory in Scotland to Llandarcy Refinery in Wales. We follow this vast piece of equipment on its difficult journey.
BP synopsis: Treating tower for high-grade lubricating oils leaves Glasgow, one of the heaviest loads ever to be carried by truck (130 tonnes) the route had to avoid water and other mains as well as bridges, and shows the tower bring loaded onto a tanker for the next part of the journey to Prince of Wales Docks, Cardiff. Then the tower is loaded onto a train and finally onto another truck for the final stage of the journey to Llandarcy Refinery in Wales.
