- Summary
- BFI Summary - A 93-ft fractionating column travels by road
BP synopsis: Too long and too wide for railways, a new fractioning column travels by road from workship to refinery (on a Pickfords lorry). Motherwell - the completion of the fractioning tower for the extended Grangemouth refinery. It is so big that they have to move grass banks to get it out of the factory. To get it to Grangemouth they have to move it through towns and villages. At the refinery, they slowly lift the column into place (one shot of it at 45 degrees). - Keywords
