Summary
BFI synopsis: Don McGraw, a Coal Board Geologist, who is engaged in proving new coalfields off the Durham coast.
NCB Commentary - Don McGraw is a Geologist with the Coal Board. Durham has a new coalfield - some of it already worked by the big coastal pits.
Its the past that tells the tale - these fossils are the finger prints of history - the clues to what happened millions of years ago. They tell the Geologist what he needs to know.
Today as in the past, the nation needs the natural wealth that lies under our land and sea. Don McGraw, and geologists like him, will continue their search - for all of us.
