Summary
NoS Summary - overweight men and women being weighed, exercising and running.
British Pathe synopsis: "Eve’s weightiest problem today is how to get rid of it." M/S of a large woman standing on some scales in the open air. A group of men and another woman crowd around. C/U of the scales - woman’s face is seen behind the scales - she smiles. "Nothing to gain - about a cwt. to lose." A tape measure is used to measure the woman’s neck. "Mind you, Adam’s just as bad." M/S of a group of overweight men doing exercises in the open air. They lean from side to side touching their toes. C/U of a large man wiping his brow after the exercises. "But when they started running you could feel the earth quiver for miles and miles and miles." L/S of group of large men and women running towards the camera. Shot of them rolling down a hill on their sides.
