Summary
British Pathe synopsis: "Here’s a queer development of the motor car" C/U of three people leaning out of portholes. High angle shot of a strange vehicle being driven along a road - it looks like a cross between a bus and a boat. It has portholes all along the side. "With its great length and row of portholes, it looks like the sailor’s dream of home!" M/S of vehicle turning a corner and approaching the camera. Along the side are the letters "C.H.L.2" Interior of the car with view out of circular windows. Traffic passes. M/S of the driver of the car - he has a large steering wheel on a pole - rather like a bus steering wheel. "Inside it is a combination of ship and Pullman car!" Interior - woman walks along a corridor with a silver teapot, she looks out of the windows as she walks along. She disappears into a cabin. "And it makes a secure home, too!" The strange vehicle drives across grass and stops. A door in the front opens and the family step out - mother, father and daughter. Mother swings the daughter around and father draws attention to the toy "Felix’ they have strapped to the front of the vehicle. M/S of woman ringing a bell on the front of the bus. Little girl opens the door and greets her.
