Summary
NoS Summary - A tree in Africa where lovers carve their names for posterity.
British Pathe synopsis: "You’ll find it at Victoria Falls - Africa - a giant Baobab, defying the hand of time" L/S of the tree with a man in safari suit and pith hat at its base. Low angle of the treetop, pan down to the base. The man in safari suit stands at the bottom of the tree whilst his native guide climbs down from its branches. "Countless honeymoon couples have visited this tree, and left their inscriptions." M/S of the white man and his guide looking at the carvings in the bark. The white man points to one of the carvings. C/U - it is a love heart with an arrow through it. C/U of the black guide laughing. "Tree of happy memories for some, and for others - well, such is life!" Panning shot of all the names carved into the bark.
