Story

Summary
British Pathe synopsis: M/S of three men placing a table in front of a painted backdrop. A rather curvaceous woman climbs onto the table and begins her contortionist act. Backwards bends, tucking her feet behind her ears, handstands etc. All sorts of india rubber antics. L/S of the acrobat climbing up a pole, leaning backwards then dropping down onto the floor - caught by a male colleague. She climbs upon his shoulders and does some clambering around on a trapeze. She manages to lift the man off the ground and hold him in the air. "In those days a little plumpness went a long way in the affections of the audience." Another woman does some india rubber contortions. "But in spite of the twenty-seven years that have elapsed since these pictures were taken, Eve was just as lively those days." One of the women does handstands then picks a chair up in her teeth and swings it around. All the gymnastics done at high speed.
