Summary

NoS Summary - Various new hats are modelled by smiling girls.
British Pathe synopsis: "Summer hats are upon us and the trend is towards larger brims." Three women pose in a drawing room setting. They wear tea dresses and large hats. We see each hat modelled in turn. C/Us of the girls as they turn their heads and smile at the camera. "This one is a diamante Baku model in pink, trimmed with black grosgrain ribbon." The second is "A chic afternoon creation in picot straw and silk velvet." We see the top of the hat as the woman bows her head. She then lifts her head smiling broadly at the camera. "The turban for daytime wear, is especially suited for ladies who desire to feature their coiffure." A blonde models a turban. "An adaptation of the Breton "sailor" in white Baku, is another striking model. (The veil keeps off the sun and possible freckles!)" C/U of woman admiring her look in a small hand mirror. She turns her head and smiles.
