British Pathe synopsis: "We’ve heard of Eve’s fondness for the original apple - in South Africa she’s helping Adam to handle the giant orange "crop". L/S of group of workers pouring oranges from sacks into wooden boxes. High angle shot of large numbers of boxes moving through the orange plantation. High angle shot of boxes travelling on a conveyor belt. "Nimble fingers wrapping up each morsel of fruit for the hungry packing cases." Panning shot of the packing warehouse with both black and white workers. C/U of three women packing fruit. M/S of boxes being rolled out of the warehouse on trolleys.
