British Pathe synopsis: Excerpts from the show "The Millionaire Kid" - the new "Gaiety" musical play in London. "Steps and steppers - fast and frequent." M/S of line of chorus girls dancing across the stage arm in arm. A soloist dances in front of them, lots of high kicks. "Not forgetting Barry Lupino’s own brand!" Barry does an impersonation of the preceding dance - a comedy routine involving him falling over a lot then jumping through a window. "And Cyril Ritchard and Madge Elliot join in the dance." A graceful dance is performed. "What would you do if you were a waiter (Barry Lupino) and found a customer (Wyn Weaver) making love to your best girl (Gilly Flower) - ?" A dramatic scene takes place at a restaurant table. Barry Lupino does lots of funny business with the knives and forks - he wears a comedy beard. He throws food on the plates and crawls around on the floor. The two lovers embrace across the table. They then stand up and kiss - a passionate embrace. "And your best friend (Laddie Cliff) came to the rescue too late?" Laddie comes on playing a drunk. He hits his friend on the head with a bottle. His friend then places a custard pie firmly on his cheek. C/U of Barry laughing. C/U of Laddie peeling the custard pie from his face. Laddie looks wide eyed at Barry.
