Summary

NoS synopsis: "A real baby - the latest arrived dwarf hippo, a very scarce kind of baby in most zoos." C/U of a wooden crate. Door is lifted to reveal a young hippo inside. Hippo emerges and is stroked and petted by its keepers. Various shots of the baby hippo. The baby nuzzles up to its mother. "And here’s a queer one - half a Zebra and half an ass!" C/U of weird looking creature which has zebra stripes on its legs but a plain body. We see the baby with its zebra parent. The baby suckles from its mother. "Somebody made a mistake here when they handed out the Zebra coats!" M/S of a very large mule type animal - it is as tall as a man. More shots of the zebra baby.
