Summary
NoS Summary - families living in caves in Worcestershire.
NoS synopsis: "Lots of us envy those palatial buildings springing up in our big cities - " Tilting shot of the facade of a building - block of flats with nice balconies. "But, envying others their dwellings, won’t solve our problems", said some ingenious folk in Worcestershire." M/S of a rock face with people silhouetted waving at the camera. M/S of rock, camera tilts down to reveal a window cut into the rock with two children looking out - a house inside a cave. M/S of a boy walking through caves towards the camera. "Not so many windows as, say, this edifice - " M/S of a block of flats with balconies (same block as seen in "The Garden in the Sky") - camera tilts down. "But the sandstone cliff makes a good home, and it’s weatherproof!" M/S of the house in the cave - various things are balanced on the rock face - a teapot, a small statue, a lamp. M/S of the entrance to another cave home. High angle shot showing young boys emerging from behind a rock, washing hangs on a line. M/S of boy carrying pail of water into a cave house, a woman holding a baby walks towards the camera.
