Summary
NoS Summary - An elaborate garden on roofs of super flats in London.
NoS synopsis: "Paths, lawns and shrubbery beds - 120 feet above London’s pavements - on the roof of these new super-flats." M/S of a doorman letting a woman through a door onto a roof garden. L/S of a gardener tending to roses. He then walks along with a wheelbarrow. Low angle shot of the facade of the block of flats, camera pans. High angle shot of the gardener at work. Camera pans to show the flats opposite. "The walks of these Berkely Court Gardens cover one third of a mile - and the roof gardens are over one acre - ten floors above the street - !" L/S of gardener pulling a garden roller to flatten the grass. There are benches beside the grass. Camera tilts down to show the front of the building which has iron balconies. M/S of gardener pruning conifers. High angle of the gardens - various shots of the gardener at work. High angle shot of the street below showing pedestrians.
